Boil approximately 1 cup of water, then pour the boiling water into the candle jar, leaving 1cm of space at the top.

The water will melt the wax inside the jar, making it float to the surface of the container. This step may take some time as the wax has to cool down.

This step may take approximately 1hr.

Once cooled the wax will harden and form a disc at the top of the jar.
Using a tea spoon or butter knife cut around the edge of the wax to separate the wax from the candle jar.

Push down gently on one side of the wax disc taking care not to let the water spill out, carefully pull the layer of wax out of the jar.

Discard the wax disc in your trash.

Remove the wick and tab using a spoon or butter knife. Push gently under the white tab until the spoon slides under the tab.

Once out pop the used wick tab and wick in the trash.

Wash your jar with warm soapy water or pop your jar into your dishwasher on a regular setting of 60 degrees or above.

Use a tea towel or paper towel to dry the jar as soon as it has been washed. This will stop any watermarks from forming.

Allow the jar to fully dry before use.

Ideally allow a day or two to dry if using as a planter.

Your Luna Candle Jar is now ready to use as you like.

Display seasonal flowers as a mini bud vase.
